From Pain to Peace - two strategies in your journey

In the last 2 years, I have been through one of the most painful challenges of my life. I felt at times like my heart was breaking and it seemed that there was nothing I could do. I want to share with you two techniques that helped me move through the pain, find peace and space between the incredible hurt I felt and my true self. I have been able to find understanding, more love, and peace which I hope can help you. In our workshops, we will teach you deeper details on many of these techniques but to start, the first is meditation every single morning, when I get up, before any lights go on in the house, in a quiet private room, sitting upright for 30 – 45 minutes. I use a timer on my phone, so I know how long to stay and not worry about staying too long and being late for work or chores I need to get to with my family. Your soul, your true self, can connect with you and heal your body, and your mind when you disconnect from your hearing, sight, touch, taste, smell, and thoughts. This is known as becoming No Body No Mind. This creates a balance of the mind that then can balance the body and slow the chatter of the egoic mind. Quite often physical healing can also occur when you meditate regularly as the true essence of you can heal you from the inside out.

The second strategy is reading the text of A Course in Miracles, (also known as ACIM) and doing the lessons once per day, as instructed, every day, pondering the message and allowing it to support right-minded thinking away from the egoic mind. The Course in Miracles supports the understanding that your thoughts are part of a survival mechanism that is not suitable or supportive of a peaceful existence. The ego creates fear and uncertainty, blocks both change and present moment awareness and can make our lives a living hell. ACIM is a powerful and wonderful way to adjust your thinking. The Course in Miracles helps us understand “Divine Forgiveness” which we shared some details of a few days ago. This ability to forgive yourself and others is one of the biggest keys for you to find peace and serenity within your heart and soul. Go inside and feel for yourself if checking out ACIM resonates within you as a step you wish to take on your path. A word of caution: The Course in Miracles is challenging to both read and understand and if you begin and struggle, don't worry, it's ok. It happens to most people including myself. There is a spiritual teacher named Gary Renard who has written a series of books that explains the meaning of The Course in Miracles which can really help you understand the meaning and receive the incredible wisdom contained within its pages. The first book by Gary to try is "The Disappearance of the Universe" which is excellent and helpful in the journey to peace and forgiveness. After I read this book by Gary, I was able to read ACIM and understand it and stay with it to completion. You may not need this helper guide, but perhaps you do.

Soon I will provide instructions on meditation strategies, but many people know how to meditate but need to be consistent. The key here is to do it every day without fail. It will take approximately one month for your body and mind to get into the groove of regular meditation and then you can start enjoying the feeling of going into the quantum field of pure awareness. It is here that you can change your direction in life for the better, to find more love, joy, fulfillment, and peace.
